From September 29 to October 1, the Women’s League of Burma organized the Fourth Women’s Political Forum under the theme “Bottom-Up Federalism and the Prospect of Women in Political Leadership.”
The three-day event was structured around three key sessions: Session One: examined gender-inclusive approaches to bottom-up federalism. Session Two: explored the integration of women and gender perspectives in governance and political leadership. Session Three: focused on structural and policy-level interventions to advance gender equality and justice, including gender quotas and the full and meaningful participation of women across the executive, legislative, and judicial branches.
The forum brought together around one hundred participants, both onsite and online.
